Observation Euromast Park
I’ll start with just sitting on a bench. I’m lucky the weather is so nice, lots of people here to watch. A guy with a beer comes towards me. He sits on the bench next to me. I don’t feel safe anymore. I’ll start walking around the park.

It’s such a lovely park. I should come here more often. Not crowded at all but still a nice atmosphere. A cute dog running around. I remember I’ve used to come here when I was younger. With my grandparents, I think.

I hear cars. It kind of takes you away from the illusion of being in ‘nature’. The sound of birds now kind off overwhelms the sound of the cars but the cars are still there. It’s still very relaxing to walk here. I walk past a sculpture. There is a pigeon walking on the grass right next to me. It’s like we are walking together. The pigeon leaves.

I get ripped away from relaxation by weird loud music. The music comes from a group of men sitting on a bench. I take a left away from the loud music. There is another man with beer on a bench. He stares at me while I walk past him. I try to keep my head down. Do you think he knows? I hear a guy beatboxing on a bench. That makes me happy again. I hope he’s doing well, and his beatboxing dreams come true.

I think I’m at the other side of the park now. There is a view of the harbor here. And more loud music. I walk away from the loud music again. I walk past the minigolf. Now I definitely remember coming here with my grandparents. We used to play minigolf here. I miss them. I should go and play minigolf here again. I hear a helicopter. The sounds of the park are gone again.

I see beautiful girl under a tree. She is writing. The sun comes through the trees and creates a spotlight on her. Her white clothing reflects this light. She looks magical. I wonder what she is writing about.

I’m now back where I started. An hour has almost passed. The guy with the beer is gone but left his empty beer can. I see another cute dog running wild. That makes me feel happy. I exit of the park
Photograph 3 objects/products

Yesterday, I had a little bit of a corona scare. I got tested and I am still waiting on my test result today. This meant I unfortunately couldn't go to a store or public place to find these products. I looked around my house for products or objects that would give me a sense of feeling at home.

The first picture I took is of a deck of cards. This is the deck of cards that my friends and I always play games with when we hang out. It looks very worn out. The box is almost falling apart and the cards are a little sticky and smell like alcohol. When I think of home I think of a place where you can truly be yourself. When I am with my friends I feel like I can really be myself. These cards remind me of that.

The next product is a candle. This is my favorite candle that I light almost every night. It is the sent sweet honey, but to me it smells a little like a green tea. The smell of this candle make me feel comfortable and cozy. This candle smells like home to me.

The last photo I took was of my stuffed animal. I got this stuffed animal from my girlfriend the night before I had a surgery. We call him Aapie. She got me this one because she thinks I look like a monkey sometimes. I never really slept with a stuffed animal, but now I can't sleep without Aapie. This stuffed animal reminds me of relaxing and it also gives me comfort. Home to me is feeling comfortable.
